Who We Are!

Minds Alive! is owned by Jeff & Janet Weersink, parents to 3 boys.  Minds Alive! is now 11 years old and we have been voted Midland’s Favourite Toy Store 10 years in a row! (as long as they have been voting) 

What We Carry!

We carry the latest educational, fun and inspiring toys available.  At Minds Alive! we believe learning doesn’t have to be work.  So jumping on a Stomp Rocket is learning and it is better than playing video games.  So don’t ask us for the latest Xbox (or whatever) game.  

At Minds Alive! we also carry a huge selection of books for readers up to early teens.   This includes curriculum based activity books to keep your little learner on track.

What We Do!

At Minds Alive! we offer expert advice to help you chose the toy that is right for that special person.  

Birthdays!

If you can’t decide we offer gift certificates from $1 to $1 million.  If your birthday is coming up you can come in and pick out the gifts you want and put them in your birthday bin.  Tell your friends to pick the gifts from your bin and they get 10% off their purchase.  Everybody wins... you get what you want and your friends get a deal.  As always we will gladly gift bag your purchase for a smile.
